South Africa 2014

Way back in 2011, Bob met Kanye at Little Angels in Orange Farm, Gautang. Kanye’s Mum passed away in 2004 and had welcomed orphan children into her home and found that she very quickly ran out of space and was utilising whatever spare building was adjacent to her property. She had a dream however to build an orphanage.

When Bob first met Kanye she presented him with the plans that her Mother had formulated for an orphanage on a grand scale. Bob promised that he would return to construct the building when he had volunteers with building erection skills in place.

A team of builders from Forrest in Bolton agreed therefore to spend two weeks at Little Angels to complete phase 1 of a 3 phase building project to build a two storey orphanage housing up to 30 orphans. This project will dominate the Footprints Foundation South Africa project this year and is a massive undertaking for the Foundation to construct a building.

During the last two week of October teams will be arriving from other organisations and these volunteers will be working at all the other orphanages previously adopted, and another new addition to the list, amazing Grace.
